# Login (Email & Password)

**POST** `/v1/users/login`

Logs in a user with email and password.

If you have opted for auth type 1, then you will have to use this endpoint to login a user with a given request body.

### Response fields

**id** unique id of the user.  
**first\_name** first name of the user.  
**last\_name** last name of the user.  
**email** email address of the user.  
**profile\_pic** profile picture URL of the user.  
**email\_verified** states email is verified or not.

**keys**  
 **auth\_key** authorization key of the user. expires in 30 minutes.  
 **refresh\_key** refresh key to refresh the auth token when auth key is expired. refer to refresh token endpoint.
