# Authentication

In order to access APIs, you will need valid credentials. Tradly provides three ways to authenticate API requests:

**Important:** It is advised to use **OAuth token** instead of **Secret key** as OAuth tokens are short-lived (1 hour) and offer improved security.

To find your **OAuth Client ID** and **Client Secret**, or your API Keys, go to `SuperAdmin > Settings > API`.

Tradly offers different authentication credentials:

*   **OAuth Token:** Short-lived (1 hour / 3600 seconds) access token obtained via the `/skua/tenant_oauth/token` endpoint using your OAuth Client ID and Secret. _(Recommended for API integrations)_
*   **secret key:** access to all API endpoints including admin-related endpoints.  
    Endpoints that can be accessed only by secret key are marked as **[ADMIN]**.
*   **publishable key:** access to all endpoints other than admin endpoints (catalog browsing, user registration, etc.).

All requests need API KEY or OAuth Token in the request header as Bearer token as shown below,
