# Change Password

**POST** `/v1/users/password/change`

Updates the password for an authenticated user.

Allows logged-in users to update their password by verifying their existing `current_password` and setting a `new_password`. Requires a valid user authentication token (`auth_key`).

### Response fields

**status** States whether the password was successfully updated.
